Dry Blood

For those interested, this is an illustration of dry blood seen under a microscope. This helps determin whether the red substance you find yourself examining is indeed dried blood, or a simile such as theatrical blood, or wine. 


In any case, obviously, you should find yourself underlining the quantity of blood, as this can tell you more about the injury, or whether the crime was staged or not. Note the average blood volume in an adult is 5 litres, in comparison with the amount found. And I pray you tell the difference between human's blood and animal blood. I shall most likely post an article about that as well.
